Municipal Court

The RenoMunicipalCourt is the Judicial Branch of City Government. The Municipal Court handles Class C misdemeanor criminal cases, including traffic violations. Cases involving violations of city ordinances are also tried in the Municipal Court.

The mission of the Municipal Court is to provide an accessible legal forum for individuals to have their court matters heard in a fair and unbiased manner, while providing a high level of integrity, professionalism and customer service.

Texas State Law Library Consumer & Self-Help Information

The State Law Library web site has Self-Help information, forms, and links.  Its Ask a Librarian feature allows users to get legal information from a librarian by email.

Sometimes even simple matters can have consequences that you are not aware of or do not understand.
